Never understood why One Hit to the Body wasn't a major hit.

Love it! Would be a challenge for them to pull that off now though.

It certainly got enough MTV airPlay back in the day. But also I believe it felt like they just being a parody of themselves....

Its basically Just another night only with Keith on guitar to make it Stonesy. Power rock with a horrible 80s beat.

Interesting observation, even if I cannot decide.

I find "One Hit to the Body" to be the second most irritating song (behind "Fight" ) on DIRTY WORK. The in some ways weaker "Hold Back" is less annoying than those two songs.

I for one prefer "Just Another Night" to "One Hit to the Body", without the former to be an outright favourite of mine.

My friend and I were at that show in Toronto. Although we were so far from the stage it felt like we were in Buffalo. The day before the concert I was offered a prime seat some 4 rows from the stage which another friend had won through a radio station (good tickets were extremely hard to come by even if your pockets were deep as the Stones hadn't played Canada since Trudeau was Prime Minister). Moral dilemma? Hardly. I did what I think most people would've done in my situation - turned down the ticket but the next day let my friend know that he was sitting next to a rare and beautiful human being.

Not my finest moment but it was a mighty fine show - great setlist. I vividly remember Keith giving himself a do-over after messing up the intro to 'Before They Make Me Run.' I didn't think you could do that...I checked my ticket stub hoping to find some rules.

One Hit is better than anything on Steel Wheels and obviously the best track on Dirty Work. It's a rather unique song in the Stones' canon I think which drifts very close to 'hard rock.' Based on the video for 'One Hit' and specifically Mick's hair, one could make the case that the Stones were being influenced in the 80s by Twisted Sister.

I remember that piece from when it live. Haven't seen it since. I was just starting my high school and Stones experience. Plus Geraldo was really hip at that time. The Stones look so bad ass for the times!

An illuminating clip, I remember seeing it before.

Can anyone help me out? What does Jagger say as he introduces Richards here:

'And wearing a combination of domestic...'?
