great photo of keef with the rosewood telecaster.photo is from 1981 maybe 1978.the rosewood telecaster i bet is one of six the fender made in 1969 one went to hendrix one went to george harrison and it looks like keef has one of those from 1969.

Note that in the Jack and Coke pic, Charlie is using the black diamond pearl kit, which he used on the 1969 tour, not the black Gretsch kit he finished the 1972 tour using. Wonder what the first 1972 show was with Charlie using the black kit? He used the black kit at the Rock n Roll Circus. Who knows, maybe the truck with the black kit was delayed for that show so they had to rush out the black diamond pearl kit. For the past twenty years anyway, Charlie's kits have been stored, off and on, in a secure warehouse in New York.
