Get Ready from Rare Earth

Yeah me too. never heard from them untill my roommate turned the record on. I played literally to death!

Also the stones 12x5, Out of Our Heads and The Rolling Stones. FANTASTIC albums, can't get enough of them. They still sound so fresh.

Cheers,
Wuudy

Ya-Ya's, hands down. Makes me laugh to remember a time when I played an album more than one time in the same day. Once in a while I'll play a new song twice a day, then I have to move on. Times have changed.

smiling smileyNo, much worse: I had to give it back to the older brother of my friend.
By the way, shortfatfanny, liked your picture-signature all those years a lot,
remind me to my tongue-tickets from Hannover and Frankfurt-Festhalle.
Schönen Tag noch!

..Some Girls........... the whole album by far

Same here, it was my first and I must have played it 500 times! Not long after, I got Hot Rocks and Made In The Shade, and played them almost as much!

"Ya-Ya's" is by far my most purchased recording. I have three vinyls, old, older and oldest. And I have at least three disc versions and a full show compilation, an in order version that I and many others assembled when the deluxe version was released.

Recently my wife bought an all in one, suitcase type, record player for the grand kids. They are fascinated by it. "You play both sides?!" For a laugh I put on the oldest "Ya-Ya's" record. The sound of the record bore witness to many an enjoyable night. It was totally trashed.

I forgot about this one. Not often mentioned here in the last 15 years.
But in my early Stones-World it was a centerpiece.

Some Girls - I was totally thrilled by the LP. The songs, the production, the cover. After the lame B&B it was a huge surprise and I urged all my friends to share that great experience. Then came Garden State 78 and it was fantastic too. I played it non-stop for weeks. I still love both albums.
