Hi everybody!
It has been a lot of fun being part of the "Yellow Route" of the AC/DC Caravan leaving Knoxville and ending up in Wilkes-Barre for the final dress rehearsal for the "Black Ice" tour! I got to do a lot of things over the last 4 days but it is good to be back home. I did tape the show but being caught up in the moment I did have my levels a little too high so there is some "clipping" and for that I appologize. I hope you like it anyway for what it is.

pic from sunday's rehearsal gig , i think everybody got a Ac Dc VIP laminate with their ticket . this maybe the only concert ticket i have , that has a price of $0.00 on it .but hey , da good old U.S.of A. is in a recession ! Mostly radio & tv personnel & contest winners in attendance .

UK Black Ice sales of 110,000 this week and according to Sony, their back catalog has sold 5 million copies this year including 800,000 in the last 8 weeks! Based on all of these current sales, I would expect to see them earning alot more multi platinum awards for their back catalog in alot of countries.

1 million albums sold last week in U.S according to Soundscan.

Good to see that the Bon era stuff is doing so well.

SO just made it back yesterday from the October 28 show and I had said I would report back.. I got to run so I make it brief..

Dream come true for me. Had never seen them and been wanting to for a long long time.. we partied super hard and had a great time before show. but i was in good alert shape for concert..

I had really really good seats... 2nd row center.. unfortunately security people right next to me... but I did my best to film a little video and take some pictures (pictures were allowed but no video)....

Set list was a bit on the short side at 17 songs.. about 90 minutes..they may ramp up a bit.. this was a small arena (8500 cap) to continue to warm up for tour..they did five songs from the new album.. arguably the better five..

in short: they sounded fabulous.. brian johnson's voice is much improved... they are a bit older but to me seem just about the same..

90 minutes...seems short yes, but heck Brian goes through a lot for that voice. In the latest RS article Brian says he can do only about an hour's worth of singing at a time to ensure a strong vocal performance.

It's okay...I'm seeing them twice anyway!

the word on the street is they are going to add a song or two..lets wait and see..

Today I bought a fan club membership on acdc.com

I got 2 great places in section 113 for Oberhausen (Germany)

To get some spare tickets you must have a look at the ac/dc webside 2-3 times a day.
Sometimes you have the opportunity to buy 2 tickets for one show.


Great for membership = 40 USD
Germany Ticket = 72,70 Euro
I got a pdf file from "eventim" and print my tickets at home !

just upgraded my ac/dc vinyl collection to re-issued cd's - don't care for corp. giant wal-mart - great prices - how can u go wrong. the sound is incredible "i'm a rocker" yeah !
