Jagger60 - I can see what you mean by this, but (at least on my part) the anger stems from frustration - seeing someone who doesn't seem to be helping himself. This girl is not even old enough to get into bars in the United States - yet he's seemingly throwing his whole family away for her. Yeah he's down and out, and for that I have sympathy, but he doesn't have to be a ninny on top of all of that.

in an event, how do we know that Ekaterina (sounds like the internet version of Katerina to me, but whatever...) isn't the sweetest pet in the world or something. i mean - have you met her? maybe you'd like her....

As for Ekaterina, yes, maybe she is the sweetest pet in the world (BTW we stopped using that term in the 40's) and maybe I would like her - I like a lot of people. Perhaps if she comes to Boston I can take her to a few bars, hopefully she'll remember to bring her fake id - they're pretty strict out here regarding underage drinking.

I guess I am in the minority here for finding it gross when someone dates people younger than their own children - but I guess that's just rock and roll so I should lighten up. Ronnie is in the Rolling Stones and since I consider myself a fan I will suck it up and learn to love every little thing each band member does in their personal lives even if I don't agree with it. I wouldn't want to seem disloyal. Hail Ronnie - Jo why don't you just eff off and leave the guy alone - you've had your day in the sun - he's moved on - get over it. Jheeesh, I know the guy married her, but he's a Rolling Stone - normal wedding vows become invalid.

Well lets just suppose that Ronnie simply is not in love with Jo anymore, and he would gladly turn over half his estate. He would still be worth millions- a lot more than 99.999% of us. And if some young hottie makes him happy, even if just for the time being, what the hell. Live while you're alive, I say. Jo and family will be well taken care of no matter what, and she's still young and good looking enough to find someone else. I think the honorable thing for Ron to do is be honest with her. If he wants out of the marriage, say so and do it, and pay Jo whats fair without a fight. Then move on and rock on!

Jo is quite able to take care of herself, and clearly so is "Katia."

Some of us have often found we can respect and enjoy the music and try to get over the disappointment that the people who play it are not any more perfect than we are. The difference is that fame and money help them get away with bad behaviour.

ohhhh - those are strong words indeed. I actually don't know too much about Ron and Krissie. I just finished reading the Pattie Boyd book however. She mentions that George & Krissie were messing around though at one point.
