Poor, poor man. Joins the world's most popular rock group by invitation, travels the world. And what does he do? He dopes and drinks himself to death. Cry me a river.

let's look at the possibilities....I know it doesn't quite have the cachet as "Jack Daniels on Tour" from yesteryear, but how does this sound for 2009:

"On Stage with Ketel One!"

More tabloid crap surely? Ronnie is no angel but 95% of what is written about most "celebs" is pure fabrication anyway.

I don't understand why one would want to publish unwanted publicity on this board.

It's unwanted by Ronnie and his family and Stones fans and is probably 95% untrue!I am just posting it to say i have seen it ,as a lot of other fans also have by now.

Heiloobaas, we can be grateful Ronnie was not on the 1792 tour.

Ronnie's in a predicament and he needs to grow up. Seems like he doesn't want to.

I dont see how those words are enabling. Nor how talent, wealth, intelligence, accomplishments make much difference to whether one is prone to addictions, has emotional problems, etc. Why didn't Scott Fitzgerald "grow up", or Billie Holiday?

"Poor woody"?
You guys are good sports... Ronnie gets drunks and starts f***g an 18-year old model for a straight week and we're all feeling sorry for him?
You gotta love that.

no it wasn't very nice - but it lacked the venomous T&S spewage you are famous for, so you didn't miss much.

From today's Femalefirst.com

Jo Wood's single happiness

Ronnie Wood's estranged wife is "happier" without the rocker.

Jo Wood - whose relationship with the 61-year-old Rolling Stones guitarist is on the rocks after he embarked on an affair with 20-year-old Russian waitress Ekaterina Ivanova earlier this year - claims she is happy on her own and has all the love she needs from her family.

She told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "I'm loving it. I'm enjoying my new freedom. I'm a lucky woman. I've got so much love and support. I don't have to put a brave face on. I've got my kids that love me, my family and my friends.

"I think I've come up trumps. This is me. Thanks for all the support. Bring it on."

Jo is getting through the ordeal with the support of her and Ronnie's children Leah and Tyrone, as well as Jamie, her son from a previous relationship.

A source said: "They're so proud of her. They think she looks fabulous and want Ronnie to see what he's missing."
-----------------------------------------

Good for her! She's been out and about lately and looking great from the photos i've seen. Change is hard, especially when you still love someone, but she's probably getting a taste of how much nicer life is on a day to day basis without an alcoholic in the house.

Ronnie will get bored with Ekaterina - i mean seriously - what the F do they have to talk about and you can't boink 24 hours a day, it gets boring. Then he'll want Jo back, and part of me hopes she tells him to take a hike.

Anyway - i'm behind Jo on this - Ronnie's treated her badly.

She'd better hurry up and divorce him so she can get half his money before he drinks it all up.
