Yes on the Ya Yas acetate question. There are at least 4 variations that I have, the one on the F yer Ya Yas out CD boot, the one from the Broadway LP, and the two apple acetates I have. I know of another variation, but havent been able to get it. 2 10 inch acetates, also on Apple, but record one is the Stones and the other is BB King and Ike and Tina. Woof.

Man this is getting good.....I only have one set of autographs, but on the Short Tell Me 1st LP. Just wish it had Stu's too. I've always wanted to get a complete set (the original 6!)..I do have a signed Beggars LP, only by Nicky, though.

Andreas, in answer to your question. Yes I got most of my autographs myself although I didn't get any of the Voodoo stuff myself. The Voodoo stuff was all acquired from the estate of a sadly departed entourage member. I have absolutely loads of solo signed stuff because when I first started collecting autographs it figured it meant I could complete an item with just one signature..... some examples below.....

Matthew, really great to hear, that you got this great autographs personally! My obstacle was, to be born on the other side of the "iron curton" -> East Germany. I started collecting very soon, supported by relatives living in west germany, but I really got in touch with the "hot stuff" after 1989 (when the stone virus could be lived by me ). But I'm looking forward to meet them and get also a signature in person ...

This set took me 8 years to complete. I got Bill and Charlie at Ronnie Scott's, Mick at the Bull's Head in Barns, Keith at the Blue Note in NYC and Ronnie at the Richmond Theatre!

I once had the opportunity to buy the photo set, which was handed out to press or by invitation (I think you have this one too), but the guy wanted to have really too much money and even if this opportunity will never come back I decided not to buy (in favor of other vinyl stuff.. ).

When I see this one now, I regret the former decision (and I had the money ... )

stone-relics, on your 'Stoned' records, is 'Jagger/Phelge' a typo? I also thought the song writing credit was just Nanker Phelge.

Maybe others might know, why did Mick get writing credit for Stoned by not Keith?

Must have been a US mistake, as all the UK singles are credited to Nanker, Phelge. But they all got a writing credit, if either Nanker, or Phelge. Probably just some weird US thing.

Luckily, I got into collecting early, so I have constantly been buying and selling. Get an upgrade, sell the old one. Plus, with Ebay, you can find poorly described rare items, snatch them up cheap, and RE-Bay them for big money. I once got a MINT WLP promo 1st LP on there, in a lot of records, there was pic, but the guy had just thrown the records sort of willy-nilly, on a table, but I detected the top of the promo sticker on it, so I got the lot for something silly like $100 or so, and I get it, its MINT, and has not one, but TWO bonus photos in it, plus a newspaper clipping from Ames Iowa, 64, with a photo that I have never seen before or since. Then I traded it to my brother for a sick rare color Vinyl Yardbirds US Epic LP on colored vinyl, kinda like the Blue Vinyl 12x5, that there is only one known copy of, and its worth like $10,000 or so, so I ebay the Color vinyl Yardbirds and got something like $3,000 for it. I do it all the time. Does take time, but I am one sick puppy when it comes to Stones vinyl.
