Sorry for the late response....so hellish projects at work showed up friday, and am just now coming up for air....

Anyway, the Field cover, is rare, and usually brings in from $300 US to $750 US, but usually around $500. The Circus cover is MUCH rarer. Someone mentioned 700 euros, which I think is a FAB price. Just a few years ago, I had two sealed ones (from the ABKCO vaults, and got $5,000 US for the first one, and $4,500 for the other. But I would say, a sealed copy now worth $3-$4,000.

oh, i got them from a german record dealer, official i think. never saw the no security box a second time. the stripped box was offered on ebay last year for a horrible price, forgot how much.

A response to JumpingKentFlash and Kait's question about the bosed sets....

From kait's original post there is only one official boxed set and that is the pink one with 14 CD's plus the bonus CD. All the others are bootleg/ "semi offical" items often with some official parts to them. i.e. a dealer buys 1,000 official Bridges CD's and then makes 1,000 T-Shirts, key rings and packages them in a nice box. This concept was first pioneered by Vinyl Experience (a shop that used to be in Hanway Street London). Mark Hayward did officially have Charlie Watts on his record label for "From One Charlie" but the other items he produced were "collectors" items. He often got some level of band involvement, i.e. both Mick Taylor and Ronnie signed loads of certificates for him. Things like the Brixton boxed set were just made up for the fan / collector market. They are what they are.... nicely made sets but they aren't official (at least not fully!).

Thanks Kait and MattLeeUK. I was wondering about those during work tonight. I'm happy to know that there aren't some weird CD box that's impossible to get a hold of. I only go after 100% official releases in my collection.

The stamps were made by Virgin Records as a promo item, they were never for sale unfortunately (I have a used and an unused one!). Got anything to trade?

Ricky, as Matt told it was a promo item from Virgin records. I got it from a friend who has a record shop.
