37 years ago today The Stones started their legendary 6 night stand @ Madison Square Garden,on the Tota Tour,l was blessed enough to attend all six shows,as were some of the other contributors here,including the creator of this thread hbwriter,so today l will celebrate cranking up my 75 boots.Cheers

Also as someone that lived in NYC for a long time,l can't figure out where this was shot,from what l have read The Stones came in their limos,then got in the flatbed truck rode to the Hotel and started playing,after they finished B.S,they rode down two blocks got in their limos and split,somehow the buildding in the back don't seem to be from New York,a mistery to be solved

yeah, we have to figure this out - sadly, Chuck Pulin is no longer with us - so sad- and just after being found dead his apartment was ransacked and many of his slides and prints were stolen -

at the end of the song - when jagger starts his vendor calls (popcorn, programs, t-shirts) is it prompted by that guy yelling "popcorn" at the song's end? It seems like Jagger is vamping off of him (I know - i have no f---ing life)

I don't remember any food vendors wandering the aisles when I went to shows at the Forum. Sporting events, yes. At concerts, no. I could be wrong. HB, did they have vendors wandering the aisles during shows at MSG back then? I can't see them doing that when Zeppelin is going full-throttle.

they didn't - that's right - and i wasn't thinking it was a real vendor - but listen to the guy who yells "popcorn" right before jagger - doesn't it seem like jagger is mimicking him - then going into his own bit about t shirts and programs - just sort of goofing on the typical stadium/arena experience? they weren't selling stuff in the arena - i think it's just a random, weird call from the stage - like many in '75

This photo and some other ones from the same show (the same mick's, keith's and ronnie's outfits) were used to made artwork of DAC-049 "Love You Live Los Angeles". Very consistently... Is it possible that this is the photo from first show in LA 09.07.1975?

Having been at several of the shows in New York pictured here I have to concur...the Stones -- already the coolest-looking band on the planet -- never looked more glamorously, beautifully, decadently Rock and Roll than on this tour...absolutely amazing.
