Bob Dylan in 2006, Pittsfield, Ma; he SUCKED! Played totally obscure songs and the ones we were all supposed to know, he butchered so bad you couldn't tell what they were! He played organ, no guitar! Never touched his guitar, played some harmonica.
Sounds like a fantastic Dylan show

1. Drifter's Escape
2. Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues
3. It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)
4. Moonlight
5. Down Along The Cove
6. Girl Of The North Country (acoustic)
7. High Water (For Charley Patton)
8. Every Grain Of Sand
9. Highway 61 Revisited
10. Blind Willie McTell
11. Chimes Of Freedom
12. Summer Days
(encore)
13. It Ain't Me, Babe
14. Like A Rolling Stone
'Totally obscure' ??
Most Dylan fans would kill to hear Blind Willie McTell and Chimes of Freedom in the same show.

George Harrison at Madison Square Garden in December 1974. Dark Hoarse indeed. His throat was ravaged, and he felt compelled to change old lyrics for the worse ("Something in the way we move it," "In my life, I love God more," etc.). He had a band that seemed fine on paper (Andy Newmark, Willie Weeks, Billy Preston, Tom Scott, Jim Horn, Robben Ford, etc.), but churned out slick mid-70s lame-o arrangements. It's no wonder he was reluctant to tour again.

Hey BluzDude, were you present at the LA Forum show Dec 14 1968?...that show contained the full 'Celebration of the Lizard'.
Jerry Lee Lewis was the opening act and reportedly got booed of the stage

Yup that was it. Actually Sweetwater was the opening act and Jerry was the Middle act. When the Crowd started booing Jerry he yelled "I hope you all get heart attacks".

What Jerry Lee book are you referring to? I'm very interested in reading more about this show.
