A shop where you can buy chips!
Quite often with battered fish.

Chips is what you call crisps here in Sweden. And eating fried fish with pommes frites (chips in Swedish) is quite unheard of here. Just a random observation...

..by adding a click of mayonnaise on top of it. Served with cooked potatoes, preferably. And some green stuff on the side if you want to be a bit fancy...

I agree with Eddie...

Some of my best memories from childhood involve "fish & chips"... For most of my childhood, my family "tightened our belts" so we could do special things as a family. Eating at restaurants was NOT one of those "special things". The only exception: seafood. Maybe once a year we would go out for lobster on someone's birthday. HOWEVER... Maybe once every 8-10 weeks there was a trip to the seafood restaurant on the corner for four orders of fish & chips to go. I can still remember the joy of seeing those greasy paper bags arriving in the kitchen! Eddie's got it right "one of the random wonders of the universe" indeed.

Peace,
Mr DJA

I'm hoping that my buddy's band will start selling T-Shirts... He plays for "Fish Sticks" and, yes, I do like them.

Peace,
