I actually think Jack White is the JOKE and John Mayer is the Real Deal!! At least John can play and sing at the same time and does not sound like someone has a hold of both of his BA***!!

All of these songs have strong political themes involving war, sexism, slavery, political insurrection, etc. In my opinion they rank right up with their best lyrics or the best lyrics in rock'n'roll. It's not when he writes about politics, it's when he writes overtly and expressedly about politics that I think he gums things up: Flashpoint, Blinded By Rainbows, Sweet Neocon, etc.
