Here is my wish list- I'm a selfish old time Stones fan who is sick to death of the warhorses-ALL OF THEM! To Mick and the boys (if you are out there and reading this), let's take a risk and dump the formula...If there is a "next tour" in the works, here is some suggestions of what you could do: play a small theater or arena show playing THE BLUES or rarities seldom played (minus the big productions and additional back-ups).... C'mon Mick-this is your chance to step up and show your competitor Springsteen what you got....

I love the Stones and they are my favourite band...but the Stones aren't Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. The set list will be the same with the war horses ! If you want to hear Winter, you can listen to Mick Taylor with Carla Olson. Great version !

If you read books about Stones-Tours in the early 70s, it's interesting that they NEVER changed any songs. Of course they played the same warhorses like now. But it was exactly the same setlist every day.

So compared to those former tours they are changing much more nowerdays.

Alright.What exactly is this opinion based on?The Stones have not performed this in over 40 years.

Me being optimistic but...

I think it'd be great if this thread could be a sticky to stay on the top of th page so if and when Mick or Chuck ever visit the site...they can see right away our thoughts as to what song ideas we would want. I dunno...maybe it'd be worth it? I know I'd love to hear Slave the next time around. Sometimes they just need to be pushed a little bit.....

The 'Satanic Majesties' night should be an interesting one (as long as Bill comes along for 'In Another Land'!).

They could very easily perform all of 'Let It Bleed' (I think they've performed every song in recent years apart from 'Country Honk'), & 'Beggars Banquet' & 'Sticky Fingers' would probably be easy enough.

I think I'll give 'Emotional Rescue' night a miss though...

It would be strange but,it would be worth it for Down In The Hole alone.The bonus would be watching them/listening to them trying to pull off Emotional Rescue (the track) live.
