Mickjagger.com poor site

no fresh news (what about the studio recording process with Dave Stewart ?), some parts still under construction (no construction at all. Deconstruction !), the very poor store section (who said Mick was interested in money ?).
what's the purpose of making a site if it is not feeded ?

I'm surprised Mick allows it to happen. Websites are a very public face these days.
Some sites are excellent-up to date, informative, creative and with archive material also.
May be Mick just doesn't care less- not so much of a control freak, perhaps?

probably just doesn't generate enough money, for him to care.

The fan sites such as this are the only way to keep up to date with info on any of the guys. Those official sites never announce any breaking news earlier than when it hits the pages of IORR or Rocks Off or Shidobee...

but his site has the "ASK KEITH" section..

if you printed all his answers out you'd have probably the best book on keith that is possible...

Mick's website is CRAP, as are the Stones' official site and Keith's website. Ronnie's is OK, but it could still be better.

If I'd be looking for news on the Stones, cool pictures, correct information, the last place I'd go looking for it would be the official Stones site. Same for the other Stones.. I mean Ronnie's gets a lot of credit and it does look cool but it's still not great on information.

That's the answer, very simple.

Also, maybe, when you've been around for 3000 years and have 1800 records out and 45000 live albums and have been documented in every goddamn music magazine rag...do they really need a website?

Fan sites are, generally, better run, handled and put together. And they, ohmygod, actually grow and change.

I think I've looked at Mick's site two times and Keith's maybe 10. I looked at Ronnie's once but got so lost in the vines I gave up.
