This is NOT made up! I read it! Keith is the one known for being nasty to Ronnie, even on stage. More of a jealousy thing, you know, dueling guitars.

Taylor truly never fit in with the Stones, however he WAS one hell of a guitar player.

Both Jo and Ronnie have been quoted on that Mick really hurt Ronnie, physically and psychologically, in Bergen, Norway on Sept 1st 2006. They told about this in interviews prior to the release of "Ronnie".
And Charlie's been heard saying....(first, a long speach, and then to close it) -And by the way: Stop bullying Ronnie!

I doubt the Stones would tour, in short order, without comrade Wood in tow.

I'm surprised that Mick would physically assault anyone, really. What do we have as proof of this? Saying he abused Ronnie could mean yelling at him. I'll do a bit of investigating. Hey GAZZA, my man, where are you when I need you, my man?? What data do you have to prove or disprove this?

just put up a cardboard cut-out of Ronnie on stage...at least we wouldn't get the silly plays at the crowd nor the screetching guitar muck-ups...better for the ears...mick can play guitar...

The only reason Taylor could even half way wing a Stones tour is because the majority of songs they play are stuck in that time frame. If they actually used their back catalog he'd be lost since it's so much bigger without him.

He'd be lost anyway.

Stones will tour with Ronnie. One last tour. Most likely in 2010. They just finished their last tour. They've hardly had any time off.

Besides, they need to find someone to reissue their own back catalog for the 13th time with another hits comp to promote it...

Do we really hear the real Ron Wood at Stones shows? Ron is so restricted in what he plays, it's downright sad. I would say 2 out of 10 concerts, Ronnie will play some nice stuff.

Ronnie is a very good guitar player...when he's not playing w/The Stones.

Last time I looked inside the credits for A Bigger Bang I saw Ronnie's name on several songs. I hear slide guitar on the album. Maybe he wasn't there for some of the live recording but he was certainly there for what he did.

Because it sure as fu*ck wasn't that Mick Taylor chick.

Albett - Taylor has stated many times he would like to sit-in with the Stones.
He would jump at the chance if offered, and again it would be nice to include
Taylor not exclude Ronnie. All the people who say: No chance don't know what

Again - if Keith was to push the point, got Charlie on his side it might happen,
maybe a one night reunion in London with Bill included, they could call it;

Even Anita P. told Keith that's the only way she would come to see the Stones again Live, if they played: EOMS...

If Mick T will be playing I will pay whatever it takes - he is the man that can lift Stones guitar playing to where it belongs. To lift it an inch doesn't take too much these days - fx Sympathy for the devil is a joke.

Imagine a real fantastic Can't you hear me knocking solo, Sympathy for the devil solo, an Angie solo, a Midnight Rambler, a Dancing with mister D solo, Jumping Jack Flash solo, Street Fighting Man solo, Sway solo etc.

It sound like a fantastic thing in my ears - what are waiting for; Mick T come back.

I have listened to it and Taylor ruins about half the tracks with his endless, pointless guitar wanking. The absolute last thing they need is to have that washed up has been join them

Well, I get your point about not fitting in, but I don't think I agree, at least musically. In fact, I think Taylor did his best work when he WAS fitting in. As to your second comment, I totally agree, but I also think he's still quite a fine player, though maybe not as vibrant and creative as the Taylorites here seem to believe.

While I'm babbling, I've said things to the effect that I don't think he should be considered as a replacement for Ronnie, but just to clarify, I think it would be pretty cool to hear him in a one-time, or even occasional, guest slot, along with Bill.

I like the weaving much better. So that leaves Mick Taylor out. There was no weaving with Taylor. He was also a very unsympathetic guitar player.
