What was the last music you downloaded

Well after a hard day of ruling the empire like I usually do. I came home and found an E-Mail from Metallica about a show available for free download ( Metallica haters need not comment) and having a recent growing taste for Metallica I downloaded it. Then of course I ventured over to good old IORR,where my Wandering Spirit led me to Buy/Sell/Trade/Hot Stuff. Where as usual I found some more great stones stuff to download. Being fairly new to the download craze. I am always like a kid in a candy store. Many thanks to those who make available all the great stuff on there. I will drive my neighbours crazy in your honor.hot smiley

The Dr Ebbetts Beatles remasters last night. Still trying to evaluate the supposedly better sound quality though I haven't whacked the sound up yet.

This summer is the first time in my life that I have bought songs from iTunes, and the list so far is:

"Black Country Woman" (Led Zep) - didn't have it, and loved the live version that Plant and Krauss performed here in Atlanta last week.

"In the Mood" (Robert Plant) - for same reason as above

"I Don't Need No Doctor" (live Humble Pie) - just a great party tune

"Tin Soldier" (Small Faces) - one of the 60s forgotten gems (must have been in a Steve Marriott mood that particular day)

"The Girls" (Calvin Harris) - OK, I know, and it's not my favorite style of music. I was in Los Angeles visiting my son at UCLA and this came on the radio. It's just brings back a pleasant memory of our California trip (and the danged thing sticks in your mind....or craw.....whether you like it or not!)

BB I would certainly never advocate any illegal activities from IORRians. At least no more than usual.cool smiley...But as I said in my intial post, their are some free legal means out there. I thought it was interesting that Metallica is now offering free downloads after their initial stance on the subject. Just goes to show how things come full circle....Speaking of freebies. Has anyone else noticed that Ticketbastard is now offering free downloads on i-tunes for every ticket you buy? No,a 99 cent download doesn't make up for all the horrendous service charges. But these days everybody is looking for a Bargain...Speaking of which, time to watch The Who.

...oddly enough, the Stones' Louisville KY show from 4 August 1975. Sound is a little rough, a few cuts here and there, but it's a pretty good show.
