Five goals scored. How many did I see? Well, between changing and feeding the baby and watching her as she crawls around... also the loss of the broadcast, I saw no goals scored. Crazy.

Isn't really easy to tell, but the Spanish seem a little too self confident to me, and usually in football you pay a toll for excessive self-confidence...

Finale woh oh finale woh oh oh oh. Germany v Russia final probably. Germany were not good tonight. I don't know what went wrong as we let Turkey dictate the game for long periods. Our defence was dreadful and the attack not much better. Hopefully the real Germany as we saw against Portugal will stand up on Sunday. But as they say and as we have found out again..never bet against the Germans.

Phew, what a nerve wrecking game - not at least 'cause (my) German team played so badly...
Compliments to the Turkish team - that was great! They seem to have watched the Croatia-Germany match very closely, as they new exactly how to defend (or should I say "dominate" Germany.

My guess is that Germany will recover for the final match, play great and win the tournament.

It's not the first time that Germany plays "not so good", but finds itself from the final. Bloody hell, I think that has been more like a rule as far as I remember. They seem to know something the others don't.

But I have the feeling of the Russian team like that of Argentina '86.

We'll see. Yes, lady luck does sometimes favour Germany but you can't be lucky so many times - it's a strength of character. The team has a never say die quality and in sport if you can win when you are playing badly then you can go further. Turkey showed this throughout the tournament too.

By the way, a very annoying broadcast yesterday. After the blackout the guy the reporter (audio) was a few seconds ahead of the pictures for the next 15 minutes, so that we knew there was gonna be a goal before we could see it.

What a bunch of stupid m*********ers the UEFA is, they force everybody to get the picture (with all these too-long audience-shots) from the one main source in Vienna and then there is no friggin' backup-system? And later that night they have to evacuate the press center in Vienna 'cause it can't take the storm? There have been a few similar storms this year. Amateurs.

I could hardly stand watching our German team last night. That was so lousy! As for an explanation I think they aren't mentally strong enough to be in a favourite's position. This was one reason why they were playing so "loose" against Portugal, when (nearly) nobody thought they could make it. Last night they were hyper-nervous althrough the game, but especially during the first 20 minutes. So nothing worked out... And the Turkish had the "power". I think it's right what Papo said. The watched the Croatia game very closely and they'd have deserved to win. But what can you say? Three goals out of five chances. They did it again!

And I have a better feeling about the final. I knew last night we'd get a nervous performance from them. Zitter angst!
