Coverdale is The most pathetic of ol' agein' rock-"stars".
He lost his credits & possible legacy 33 years ago.

If I remember my Beavis and Butthead correctly, they wore AC/DC and Mettallica T-shirts. They also had a loser patsy friend who wore a whitesnake t-shirt, and they abused him freely.

Just looked this up. Since its inception in the late 70's, Whitesnake has gone through eight guitar players, six bass players, six drummers and nine keyboardists. The band has only one original member, which is of course Coverdale. It must say something about the guy, considering 29 bandmembers have quit.

Speaking of David Coverdale, who sucks, reminds me of the movie Cloverfield, which was awesome.

called DEEP PURPLE in years 1973-77. First two years were good, studio-wise,
first year live-wise.

Plant was also annoyed at the fact that Coverdale and Page put out an album together.
Coverdale replaced Ian Gillan in Deep Purple. He sang on Burn, Stormbringer and Come Taste The Band. Formed Whitesnake after Purple disbanded. Jon Lord joined him as keyboardist. Their biggest album in the States came out in 87 with Still of the Night and Here I Go Again.
They've always had great drummers in the band, with the late great Cozy Powell, Aynsley Dunbar and Tommy Aldridge all playing at one point.

I'm a fan of Whitesnake. Regardless, what a stupid comment by Coverdale!! I seriously doubt Plant would want them opening. Would be awesome if AC/DC would be asked!

white Snakes run of success lasted 2 years at most and the Stones still sell out today action speaks louder then words in my book.

This is a really awful rendition of Smoke.. (Japan 1975) with Bolin-Coverdale-Hughes-mark
(IV?) of Deep Purple.. Some lines by Hughes is ok, but the rest.....
I believe it was about here Lord literally cried because they were so bad.
