Thanks for the great video. Villefranche is a beautiful town, as the video shows, and worth spending some time at, looking across to Nellcote. I loved it there.

Yeah its a great area,Not much to see really.Very touristy these days around the area,certainly in summer.Its all surrounded by iron gates etc.But close ur eyes and u can hear "dont want to talk about jesus just want to c his face"......

strange! it's exactly the song i hear in my head when i see nellcote - the piano line and the balck voice back-singing-

mikro-mann, you can also take a bath on nellcote little beach-its free going-
juste under the house

Nice one Django. Villefranche is a beautiful place... hell, the whole AREA kicks ass actually. Just in case you wanna check out the real estate there take a look at this site (excellent one with great photo's and some video tours - great for Fantasies !!!)

I have lived in Cap Ferrat for one year in 1996 actually, went several times to see the gate at Nellcote always there were some fans checking it out. It is an amazing beautiful place, wonder who owns it now or who lives there, maybe a very rich Stones fan...:>)
there was some interview with Anita Pallenberg where she says the place was turned into a parking lot after they left....she was joking I guess

2 weeks ago I was with my band (the donkeys forever stones tribute) in Nice to play a gig in a pub
the day after we decided to go to Nellcote... but not out (already been) but to try to enter!

Sorry for my english ; I'm a french little boy (but I like it)

Last time I was in Villefranche was a couple of months ago at the end of May, when myself and BarRoomQueen were having a holiday in that part of the World. We took a walk along the beach and up the steps to check out Nellcote to find that the builders/decorators were there. According to one of the decorators we saw walking in through the gates the house has recently changed hands and the new owners are having work done. No idea who the new owners are though.

This was our first day. Comming from Düsseldorf Airport, direct ride to Nellcote.
We were late, because the fligt was delayed. We had no time for change clothes, we had to arrive the camping site by daylight.

Here a picture, next day in racing clothes for the rest of this tour across france, monaco & italy !
