WOW !!! Amazing footage, yeah, that was a famous concert cause at some point supposedly a riot was suppose to have started (since the Commie Government wasn't too big on Rock and Roll - LOL) I think it was the PALACE OF CULTURE in Central Warsaw or something.... Sounds like they had some nice arrangements going by 1967... PAINT IT BLACK and SATISFACTION - GREAT !!!

Amazing footage. The full performance has to be included in the video anthology set
'Rolling Stones Performances'. A deluxe multiple dvd set in a standard serie (less dvd's) and a deluxe version, which we all will buy.

i know someone who was at that show, and he still glows in the dark from it.
he talks about how folks filed into the Palace of Culture - a very formal and intimidating venue -
not knowing at all what to expect or how to act. smile: they figured it out pretty quick.
he remembers people taking to that jacket-swinging as if they'd been waiting all their lives for it ...

Well no it wasnt, not in Poland in 1968. But that's another subject and hasnt to do with the Stones of course. The 1968 movement in Poland was horrible.

Dude, POLAND wasn't a disgrace, the Puppet Government of Poland (by way of the totally repressive USSR) was a disgrace. There was that "allthough" word....which I objected to - and the "Poland was a disgrace" statement, which I had to translate to "the system in Poland was a disgrace"... - as I couldn't believe LA would write just that, allthough he now just confirmed that the meaning was supposed to be "Poland and the people was a disgrace".

amazing indeed... great quality too, including the audio. Interesting how high is the preponderance of audience shots. They don't show the band until halfway through the clip! The focus is on the people, even when they're losing their sh!t to the vanguard agents of capitalist pop culture!
