Never like the way they played it for many years. Just a simple intro like in 1975 was great or 1969 too. Now it's just a circus song for jagger intro.

yeah - I'm with aprilfool. I'm more partial to the non-synth-loop-drumming versions, when it was guitar driven.

In Ottawa, during this song, there was a good 2-3 minutes where Keith and Charlie actually left the stage during the song. I'm not sure if the people in the back even noticed!

I LOVE the Love You Live version! That's my favourite version, even over R&R Circus. (I know there's a lot of haters for LYL here, but I don't care!)

my fave is the Altamont second version....man, Keith is so mad....I LOVE that feedback, right before the Chuck Berry licks....tremendous.

this is one that got better in '05 with more emphasis on the leads compared to Licks or No Security or even B2B. That may not be saying that much, but how many other warhorses would you say that about?

I think Ronnie neads to solo after Keith..to keep it interesting on the next tour,or mabye drop it altogether.

in another thread i suggest sympathy should be replaced with 2000 light years. Something new to us, same amount of mick performing, maybe more coherent guitarwork, and keeping the light engineers busy as h#ll >grinning smiley<

They did ought to drop it...unless they're going to give it a fresh arrangement.
Trouble is, the nature and length of the intro makes it almost uniquely suited to follow the B Stage set.
