Let me tell you first that I really love this site! The latest news about our boys and really nice topics in the Tell Me section. The concert reviews ever since 1994 are also great. Now I have this idea....
Suppose we put all the gigs the Stones ever played during 1962-1989 on IORR.
If you have ever attended one of those gigs, you can write your reviews, upload your pics, journalist reviews, make a link with YouTube etc.
Now there is so much information in this Tell Me section....I like to have some more 'structure' in it.....
Excuse me BV, I guess it might be a lot of work, but together we can do it ....
Who's in??? (and excuse me if someone already did this suggestion before)
Maybe hard to be objective...or remember anything at all, about a concert that happened 40 years ago? Also...there could be a lot of lies, and fake reviews, as there's nobody to confirm the stories. It's not a very bad idea though...just problematic.
I have also had such idea in my mind for a long time. It would be nice to collect such a collective IORR memory database (plus the articles, photos, etc.). It maybe shouldn't be so precise than the current reviews - more like discussing things under the headline of a tour. American 1969, European tour 1970, etc. Of course there is a room for fakes, memory making tricks etc. but so what? I guess we are not doing Ph D degrees here, and I don't consider some of the things Keith Richards 'recalls' quite accurate at all...

Great idea! Feel free to pass on your memories. And make sure you add the date of the show, place etc, so that I don't need too much investigation to get it into system. Thanks!
We will go ahead with it? I guess my post above was too negative, it's just me who can't remember much from my first Rolling Stones concert - save for Bill Wyman's bassplaying and the inflatables. It'll be an interesting IORR section for sure

Some of us have brains like a goldfish - memory 3 seconds. Good thing because you don't remember bad stuff. Others do remember shows from the 60's and on by the Stones. Those are the ones who will help us out here.
Considering the absolute goldmine of pictures, articles, cuttings, and above all, memories, from IORR members, it makes good sense to dedicte areas where such treasures can be easily located.
