Dutch rock is usually not very inventive. But sometimes there is a good song. "Before My Head Explodes" by Ceasar has always been one of my favourites.

They were born in Holland, spent their childhood there. They moved to Hollywood when they were about 9 years old to become rockstars

It went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in February 1970. British girl band Bananarama covered the song in 1986.

Anyone remember the Sunny-Jim-Band?
allthough only the drummer(s) were dutch their mainbase was Amsterdam, I believe.
saw quite a few gigs of 'em and loved it.

Since Maestro Cees [Kaes] AKA Cornelis Vreeswijk (1937-1987) AKA Flyin' Dutchman
arose such fine reactions,
I have some more classics which built him the positions as Sweden's
NATIONAL BARD along with Carl Michael Bellman and Evert Taube..
