Pauly, appreciate the info but Glam's title is much too vague IMHO (as you can tell by now I'm not a fan of vague subject titles - don't wanna waste time opening something that just says "Mick" or something, I checked out Glam's earlier and didn't even notice all that extra stuff.... NAW SNC, I'm groovin on this really cool cat jive trip called "PREPARING YOUR TAXES FOR 4/15/2008" Me and the GF (I must say, this year her procrastination on the paperwork has been at GOLD MEDAL level !!!)bring in ALL paper work to our accountant this FRIDAY, April 11th (about the 5th date postponement) and pick it up Monday, April 14th (at which time I see the totals and get so shit faced on some fine 151 Rum and Pineapple juice that I'm crawling to the toilet to puke and missin' by a mile. By April 15th I'm in good enough shape to do a pay by phone for all my Fed and State taxes... think about how much dept that's putting me into...... I gotta get into this off shore Cayman Islands thing, maybe Lukester knows about ALL THAT.....so, that's what I do for fun - Self employment is a Gas Gas Gas, no time for films (SAL does look good even though Jagger seems a bit too HYPER and speeding everything up....)

Expected to see another tired performance there but was pretty impressed. Not saw SAL yet (going on Friday) but this has whetted my appetite for it.

Is it just me or the guitars are mixed higher in the movie than they are on the cd?

Also, it's fun to look at the contrast between the 1969 and 2006 videos. In the '69 clip, Jagger looks utterly possessed; he delivers the song as if the devil is being exorcised out of his body. In the SAL clip (which I like), he looks more like an aerobics instructor. Looking at the two performances side by side tells me that the big difference between now and then is neither one of age, energy, or technical ability. It is rather one of passion, hunger, and love for what they do.

people have talked about how they don't like how the sound is mixed to emphasize who's on camera at the moment - i actually like it - especially those 3 riffs of keith's at the end. do you know what i'm talking about?

WOW. That really did rock. What energy. Love the sound of Charlie's snare. He is playing as good as ever. Keith really impressed me on this version....especially love the up the neck riffs near the end....Ronnie plays great too...playing licks over top of the main riff something he did not do alot of on more recent tours. Mick totally energy.

Less showboating equals better playing...what a concept!

Fav. version is still on Love You Live...Ronnie plays like a madmad over top of Keith even though Mick's voice is shot.
