A former member of the Swedish pop group Abba has been found dead at his home in Spain.
Ola Brunkert, a drummer who played on all the band's albums, is believed to have bled to death from a throat wound after crashing through a glass door or window.
The 62-year-old managed to walk outside to seek help but died in his garden, according to police sources on the island of island of Mallorca. There is no suggestion of foul play.
Brunkert was a Swedish jazz drummer and session musician who became a key member of Abba's recording team.
He was one of only two musicians to play on all Abba's albums and also toured with the band in 1977, 1979, and 1980.
Before joining Abba he played in groups including Slim's Blues Gang, Science Poption and Opus III.
He retired to the island of Mallorca to play with his own jazz band. He lived alone, and his body was found by a neighbour on Sunday night.
Abba, the Eurovision-winning pop band, topped charts around the world in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Fronted by Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad, their hits included Thank You for the Music, Knowing Me, Knowing You, and Dancing Queen.
