The Stones played there in 1965. Later it was known as The Palladium.

er ... that was the first-ever Stones gig in mainland Europe apart from the april 20th 1964 Montreux TV festival.
they played Wales and Scotland in 1963, the US in june 64 and Ireland in july 64.
