so the New Record Mirror in which your historic piece on the Stones appeared was put to bed
on May 6th or 7th - a very eventful week for the fledgling Stones! (it was May 6th that they signed with ALO,
and the 10th that they recorded their first single). so was it on Sunday May 5th that you took Dezo Hoffman
down to the Crawdaddy to take the photo for the article, or had that been done earlier?
i mean: had your article been waiting a bit before it ran? it reads partly as if it had been written
before ALO arrived on the scene - but then again, you mention that they were hoping to record Come On,
so ... so maybe i should shut up, stop speculating and let you tell it!
