Just happend a couple minutes ago,

Sold out two concerts in Barcelona last week in a couple weeks at Nou Camp (FC Barcelona Stadium, 120.000 people) and Madrid concert Santiago Bernabeu (Real Madrid Stadium 95.000 people), has been sold out in two days this last one.
Tomorrow are selling out in San Sebastian, all these concerts during July 2008.

And the pirces are the same like Stones... .I bought ticket for Hamburg for 105E. I think only U2 can sold out 2x Camp Nou on the same tour day by day. It's sad but Stones are not so hot as they used to be in 95 or 98. Anyway Stones are touring very often comparing to E Street Band ( i'm not talking about Bruce solo).

Both are great bands !!!

again, i doubt this (like the stones) is because the spaniards are particularly hardcore bruce fans - (really, how similar is new jersey americana to sunny barthelona) - those people just like a party!

yeah the stones aren't hot anymore. they just completed the highest grossing and highest attended tour in the history of humankind and their not "hot" anymore. bollocks mate!

The first Nou Camp show went on sale a few weeks ago and sold out that day and then they added a second night.Dont think the stadium holds 120,000 anymore - its listed as 99,000 for football with the Bernabeu just over 80,000. Probably close to 250,000 tickets available for the 3 shows in all, I would think. Still pretty good, though! I think the San Siro in Milan sold out pretty quickly too...its surprising though that it seems to be his only Italian show next summe as hes very popular there.

More like they are squeezing more money off their fan base than in 1995 and 1998, just compare # of shows or attendance figures for this last year. 2006 - 1 show in Amsterdam not quite sold out. 1998 5 in Amsterdam, 1 in The Hague and 2 more shows in 1999.

Yeah but Stones did over 150 shows on ABB Tour. Probably if Bruce (or U2)will do 150 shows he would beat this record. I can't imagine 25.000 people on Bruce show in Rome like Stones audience was there. But i don't care and you do. Don;t take it too serious it's only r n r.

Stones in Rome would definitely have sold out if the prices were the same as the previous year in Milan. They basically doubled the price, and that was the outcome...

thrak I don't take much too seriously mate but you're flat wrong on this account. Bruce can do 200 shows and he won't come close to what the unhot stones machine can make in 150 not that money makes a band hot. i will say that the stones on a number of songs are way "hotter" than bruce on any song. i like bruce alot but he just doesn't rock like the stones do at all.

And if Bruce higher the prices for his concert..... then Stones might be in danger. I know that would be the worst news possible for many Stones fans. Imagine Stones not being the highest grossing anymore. ooooh the shame.

88000 tickets for Bruces Oslo concert sold out in 1 hour here. Which is quite a lot for for this tiny country

I haven't numbers for Bernabeu Stadium but the Nou Camp sold out attendance was 81,269 for U2's Vertigo Tour 2005.

One major difference between the Stones and Bruce and which may reflect on the ticket prices is the Visual event. The Stones stage is part of the concert whereas Bruce has a very basic layout. It's open to debate as to which people may prefer.

My take on this is that I enjoy the Stones with the stage,the vibe and the occasion and also appreciate Bruce for the music, the fact that he plays 7/8 songs from his latest CD and his terrific back-up band.

Don't understand why people can't just compliment Bruce or U2 without taking a shot at The Stones. Good for Bruce that he is selling a lot of tickets. It doesn't take anything away from the recent touring accomplishments of The Stones- it only shows they are both still in demand.

BTW thrak I'm pretty sure the The Stones already surpassed U2 when they were at the same number of concerts U2 had on their Vertigo tour. U2 had maybe 115-120 shows? I'm pretty sure The Stones were ahead of them after they reached that number.

Prices in Madrid for Bruce Springstreen show, 71, 67 y 57 euros plus 7 euros cost through the seller on internet, same as Barcelona and San Sebastian.
Santiago Bernabeu holds around 85.000 for concerts and Nou Camp in Barcelona almost 100.000 people
