man, are we all really this shallow?

Well, there are now 7 comments on that article - excluding mine, which was probably one of the first in there. Obviously, I was too harsh on the friggin' Daily Mail and its standards of - ahem - journalism... Censorship rules!

You gotta give 'em hacks at the tabloids credit for coming up with that utterly crazy comparison in the first place. Anyway, Patti Hansen looks pretty good I'd have to say.

Keith looks as fu**in cool as ever, the guys a walking miracle... his wife Patti, wow, what a woman!!!

In 1981, while watching them shoot the WOAF video in NYC, I was among a group of people standing behind a police barricade. Keith walked by a few feet away. A guy standing near me said, "Boy, he looks terrible!" He said this quite loudly and Keith heard him. Keith turned around and just looked at the guy.

I shouted, "Keith, you look fine!" Keith smiled and walked away. Keith's appearance had changed. But the insensitive a**hole that said that acted like Keith wasn't even a real person... with feelings like anyone else.

i thought he was still looking *good* in 81...

Yes, I remember! According to the article you are 28 and Susanne is 42. I think Susanne is younger...lol

i'm sure he had a great night...and received a ton of love and attention and generated a lot of excitement just by showing up.
great to see him out with the fam...they all look beautiful and happy.

Here we are, all judging Keith by his looks, keck, somedays I look terrible, other days I look even worse.
Someone may ask me on a Monday....Did you lose 15 lbs? and on Tuesday someone else will ask if I put on a few. Then the women will ask about my hair to which I always respond....it's the way I woke up this morning and combs and brushed don't work on me......Whatever, as far as I'm concerned, it's how we feel and how healthy we are....on the inside.

i'm just curious if he does his own eyeliner or if patti does it - it seems pretty smudged - needs a touch up.

This is such a shallow thread. No human being looks so great once they get into middle age. Some wear it better than others. Bottom line here is Keith is comfortable in his own skin. Whether you like it or not his smile is genuine and comes from his heart. Would you rather him get a botox plastic face? To lay crap on him for how his skin appears is an indictment on how a sick media looks at the world in general. Regrettably, these are same people whom on a daily basis jam "ad nauseum" people like Brittany Spears and Paris Hilton down our throats as though it was of some great importance and relevance to our lives. To criticize Keith for musical reasons I could accept if the argument were valid. Otherwise, to the Keith critics out there take a good look in the mirror after looking at some photos of yourself when you were younger. I dare say the person staring back at you ain't so pretty. Keith seems be comfortable with where he is, are you that way with the person you don't know in the mirror?

in bucharest. they assigned a total number of shows and made up something that i supposedly said about mick. it's the same paper that labeled bernard and a male friend of his as members of the rolling stones!

It seems pretty obvious that they do. That's why the wanted only young people in the front rows at the Beacon shows, and the reason they hired a bunch of hot young models and put them up front at those gigs. They can dish it out so I assume they can take it as well.

i know they "like the ladies" but can we be sure it was the stones who made that beacon audience decision, rather than scorcese?

Good point, but even if it wasn't their idea they obviously went along with it. Jagger did the same thing earlier for one of his solo gigs as well, and Scorcese had nothing to do with that.

I think he looks great, especially in the last picture. Yes, he's always been pale as have the rest of the Stones btw unless he's been in the tropics for a while. I admit, that zipped up jacket, although very beautiful, doesn't do much for him but it appears to have been a cold, windy night in NYC. Of course Patti, as always, looks gorgeous.

Btw, did anyone notice that black thing in his right hand? That couldn't possibly be a cellphone, could it???
