OT: "Oh My God" Pt. 2 - Still great after all these years

OK, how about the albums that really rocked when they first came out, and (at least 15) years later they still cook. List one, list ten, whatever comes to mind.

For me Led Zeppelin 1, Dark Side of the Moon, highway to Hell, Back in Black and Making Movies (Dire Straits) immediately come to mind.

Very true NICOS, but sometimes a record can take a few months or years to grow on you (or me at least) and be around forever.

This is one of the things that makes LZ so great; the timelessness of their albums. My favorite LZ studio albums are:

Physical Graffiti
Presence
LZ I
LZ III

Of course the same goes for many (all?) Stones albums from 1968 to 1983, imo.

Bowie's Space Oddity, Hunky Dory, Lodger, and Scary Monsters (these are my faves of his!)

And the Beatles, Beatles, Beatles, needless to say.

Talking Heads - Fear Of Music

Springsteen's Wild, Innocent and E Street Shuffle

Neil Young- Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere

among so many others!!

It's amazing to me how, in addition to the Beatles and the Stones, Led Zeppelin's music still has the power today that it had when it first came out.

Page mixed everything with a lot of balls on the bottom, considering the quality of recording equipment in 1968-1973, and it all still sounds great. I still marvel at John Bonham's drum sound, especially on Led Zeppelin IV.
