The last time I saw Fogerty was about 38 to 39 years ago as a headline act with 3 other guys and they played for about 35 minutes. I guess they wanted to be like the Beatles in that regard.

....hmmmm, Fogerty with 3 other guys, 39 years ago.......hmmm.......I'm drawing a blank.....

...and I remember the Grass Roots were the second act and played over an hour.

Saw him here in LA just last Friday and he rocked. He was having voice problems but he still nailed the show. Great guitars.

Completely dissapointed with the LA crowd---they wanted to sit throughout the show. Blasphemous! No way. You gotta stand at a rock and roll show--especially if it's Fogerty.

If the Stones ever tour again and come to LA and I go see them... God help me if someone tells me to sit down at a Stones show!

When I saw Van Halen at Staples (L.A.), I don't think there was one person in their seat.

Hey Justin,I was there. Slight disagreement. First of all the crowd stood up and rocked during the uptempo songs and sat during the slower ones. Pretty par for the course. As for his voice. It was pretty good for three quarters of the show. But when it went,it went bad. First they tried giving him tea. Then he made a joke about sounding like Rod Stewart or Bonnie Tyler. Then he tried to finish with his uptempo numbers. Up Around The Bend,Fortunate Son,Traveling Band. Not a pretty sight. I give him credit for being a trooper and giving a good effort. When he's right,definitly a good show.

It was a great show and I saw that John was trying his best to remedy his throat. There were moments when he couldn't hit any high notes and his voice was raspy and craggley and I was feelin for him!

I saw that he cancelled the following show at Phoenix just to recover from that night in LA.

I'm glad to hear that people stood at Van Halen. I find it disrespctful to sit down when someone's performing--especially if it's rock and roll!

Paul-Have a good time, I'm sure Fogerty will rock (love the new album). I'd tag along, but that JOB thing has me out of town again! I did catch Buddy Guy (front row) down at the Center a few weeks ago- A most excellent time!

My partner went to the show last night in Chicago.......AT the end of Bad Moon Risin', He sang the the lyrics the way we all heard them originally......
"There's a Bathroom on the right" and pointed right.....gotta love that kind of humor!!! Someone not taking himself too seriously....

I was at the L.A show, and it was great. The crowd in my section was standing nearly the entire time - near the front,left center.
His voice cracked towards the end, but he soldiered on. He even apologized, but it wasn't that bad.
Feel sorry for the people in Phoenix.

Yeah,Hball,good show. But man,his voice really gave at the end. A shame,really good show up to that point.
