One of their best openers. This was so much better than the ABB opener.

I never got to see a NS show. This intro is OK,but it doesn't look like their best (Topped by SW, VL and B2cool smiley.

Good one.. Never seen this one before, as I never got to see a NS show either.. But i must say I liked the ABB opener much better, IMO the best opener I've seen (SW and beyond)... Still, this makes me think that "Might As Well Get Juiced" wasn't that bad after all.. hehe.

Yeah, brings it all back, NO SECURITY was such a kick ass tour - MOONLIGHT MILE, SOME GIRLS, ROUTE 66, PAINT IT BLACK, SHINE A LIGHT, MIDNIGHT RAMBLER on the B stage.... less war horses, Damn thing should be out on DVD !!!

I agree. Other than being THE GREATEST intro it was a great tour. I beleive Sacramento was filmed. So I guess we'll have to wait 25 yeears or so.

I was there (Boston, twice). Back then it was cool, now it doesn't give me chills. Sorry

Less warhorses?
There was just no Satisfaction at most shows.
JJF, SMU, BS, IORR, Sympathy, Tumbling Dice, Rambler, HTW, Paint It Black...all of them were played more or less on every single show. Just in another order than usual.

That was excellent. Thanks a lot! I wonder if any of the other great concert films are out there somewhere? Really loved the video intro to Sympathy on the Voodoo Lounge tour. Bigger Bang intro was also incredible.

Thanks for posting. I sat behind the stage and we did not have any video screens. It was like we were never there.

I sent this to a friend and the subject of the email was "chills" : )

I agree with whoever says this was the best tour opener/build-up. They just look so badass.

I think it's very silly when they try to look like badasses at their age. Because they are not....the Stones are very nice people and they should be nowadays...
Anyway, it was a nice intro...

Satisfaction wasn't played at any of the No Security shows (January 25 - April 20, 1999). Neither was Miss You.

My comment right after seeing the intro at the jun 20th 1999 show in Wembley Stadium was: "F**k, it's better than Terminator 2!"

Hold yer horses. Nothing beats Terminator 2. Greatest ever action movie.

Great!! Brings back some great memories of the UK shows in '99.

An awesome video. I remember the roar of the crowd as the curtain opened to reveal the huge video screen...

RSFan, youz gotta re write you definiton of WARHORSES my friend. #1. PAINT IT BLACK wasn't anywhere near a WH in 1999. It had only been played badly IMHO (Due to Keith's choice in guitars - that Fender electric/acoustic combo) on the 1989 STEEL WHEELS Tour (and 1960's before that- but NOT '69 of course). In 1999 it was FRESH and Rocked BIG TIME. #2 MIDNIGHT RAMBLER was played on the 1989 tour but before that it was 1975 at the LA Forum - No 1978 Tour or 1981 Tour = HARDLY a War Horse. Same with SYMPATHY. Last Sympathy was 1975, THAN 1989 - long gap/not even close to a WAR HORSE. Remember, we're taking 1999, not LATE 2007. Oh and how can I forget. MISS YOU was missing in action (thank God) on the 1999 Tour, instead we got RESPECTABLE, IMAGINATION, WHIP, and the previously unmentioned YOU GOT THE SILVER from Keith, like MOONLIGHT MILE and SOME GIRLS, another fine Debut. So, just to somewhat repeat myself. MR and SYMPATHY have never been War Horses because they were left out of set lists for many tours. MISS YOU IS a War Horse because it's basically been played almost always since it's release (1978). JJF, HTW, BS, TD, SMU, IORR, SATISFACTION are ALL true War Horses, GIMME SHELTER is not (missing in action in 78 and 81/2 not to mention MANY times in the 21st century) nor is STREET FIGHTING MAN. YCAGWYW is not one either but damn close (not played in 78) WAR HORSES are based on the past my friend, not the unknown future. In this case we were talking about the 1999 NO SECURITY Tour so anything after 1999 doesn't count because at that time it was considered the future.

Sorry erikjjf, this was written and sitting in my computer for 24 hours. You made mention of a few things that I repeat. Helter

No Security was such a special tour. It was my first tour ever to attend...and such magical set lists.
