Where did you get these?
I didn't find these on www.eventim.de for the German shows... :-)

I went to the shows. I know Keith.

I hate to dissapoint you, but those are not back stage passes. They only get you into the Rattlesnake inn, where the Stones cater to their friends, families, staff. It's free food and drink. And the "23" in the right hand corner indicates who in the Stones camp invited you to the Rattlesnake inn. 23 is NOT Keith. This can probably be confirmed by others who have been to the Rattlesnake Inn, invited by Keith or... The person who invited you.

Umm, hate to disagree but J-henry is correct. I have a bunch of these from 89/90; 94/95 and Bridges and No Security etc.

and actually the "working" one let me go anywhere I wanted..

Go to the "search" function here, and type "rattlesnake". And in stead of searching only the last month, chose the one with "no time limit". We've had several threads about the Rattlesnake Inn, and I've met a few of the posters on this board there.

johnhenry those are rattlesnake passes not backstage. Two different areas - although the organic lamb was excellent!

True. I didn't mean to call it backstage. I do have a laminate somewhere. I post that next.

maybe some people with pass-bestowing power have more than one number,
and yeah, "working" and "Rattlesnake" are two different things,
but ... maybe the guy just wanted to show us his souvenirs for some reason?

Here's my On Stage pass that was signed by Mick a couple days after the show leaving a hotel. Framed with an 11x14 photo that I found a download link to last year. The M on Mick did not turn out well, first time in 20+ years I had a problem with a sharpie.

I posted the different kinds of passes. For the last shows they had special entourage passes. They ddo re-issue work passes through the tour.

Maybe I'm getting something wrong, but on the 4th pic, with the samples of all backstage passes there is a "suppot guess" pass. Is it a pass for supporting acts? The description looks like it was. However, it says "NO entry without ticket". I still hope that I misunderstood something but does it mean that opening bands have to buy tickets if they want to play? Sounds ridiculous.

Nope, means often with a pass you also have to have a ticket if you are a guset of the band. Simple as that. The pass gets you backstage but NOT a seat. Unless you get a Mixer pass, which I have gotten 5-10 times.

>> does it mean that opening bands have to buy tickets if they want to play? <<

no, they don't need a ticket to play - just if they want to see the Stones show from out front.
(and a "support guest" is someone who's a guest of the support act - is that what you're asking?)

There are almost as many passes as there are fans at the show. Some cost a fortune, others are given out to people they know, including Hells Angels, old friends, family members. They give you free drinks, food, jumbo shrimps and an occational visit by Charlie. Noen of these are backstage passes. Those would say "access all areas". And even that one would not get you anywhere near Mick. PS. I have been very very near without these passes quite a few times, less than 5 feet to be specific, but that is another story...

Not true. I have been backstage many times via "backstage passes" in same room with keith, Ronnie, etc.

My "Bar Baylon" pass got me in there - and virtually anywhere.

A "Working"pass got me EVERYWHERE in Tampa.

A RI Pass doesn't get you backstage - when you are taken backstage you are actually escorted there by someone whose own pass has escort rights.

Not sure what an "RI" pass is but there ARE passes that let you roam.

"RI" means Rattlesnake Inn, aslecs - people are just saying that isn't a backstage pass.
no one means there's no such thing as an "all access" pass.

RI means Rattlesnake Inn pass - the free booze & buffet pass. Sorry about that.

during the last Bang show in Melbourne a dude behind me gave me his RI pass after the show.
He said he noticed me enjoying the show so much that he thought i would like it as a souvenir.
good guy.
( i think he saw the smile on my face when Mick sat on the keys and started Worried About You )

Do those passes get you into the "Meet and Greet"?
