Mathijs the book has more pics showing Ry with Keith playing in the background and the neck of Brian's hummingbird visible. No sign of Bill Wyman though. The other people present looks to be Tom Keylock and Jack Nitsche.

The layout seems to be like this:

I know that this 'seems' to be the case, but do we in fact have pictures with Keith and RY together? Or Brian and Ry together? There's plent of stories on how Keith constantly left the room when Ry was there, or that Brian was crying when Ry was there.

>> do we in fact have pictures with Keith and RY together? <<

yeah there is one in The Early Stones where you can (barely!) see them both.
having unearthed my copy of the book and pondering these shots from Rockman (thank you Rockman!)
HM's layout up there looks about right (thank you HM!): it looks like there were carpets
at each end of the room, and bare parquet floor in the middle.

for folks who don't have the book: the Fifth Dimension was in the cottage at Redlands,
and the book states that Keith had had some of the walls knocked out to make a large downstairs space.
the quote from Anita (insofar as it really is from Anita - most of the "quotes" in the book
sound way more like Terry Southern than anyone else) does state that Ry was playing
when he wasn't passed out (and that she was passed out at least as much as he was, so ... )

Stories are stories, make of them what you want, but here's the photo of Ry with Keith in the background and the neck of Brian's Hummingbird visible.

Here's another photo showing Keith playing his custom. Note what appears to be the same (sticker, note, whatever) on his headstock which is seen in the Eric Hayes photographs, although it's in a different position in this photograph.

I knew you would come up with the evidence! And your're right, Keith and Brian can be seen sitting at the back of an awfully stoned Ry Cooder. Great shot!

I only managed to gain access to the preview shots, it did say who the photographer was... I just forgot to take a note of his name as time was not on my side! :-/

not to repeat myself, but who is the guy (I suppose he's a "bloke") in the white shirt, helping himself to a beer?

If I remember the crediting correctly, that is supposedly the photographer/owner of these photos, but, who's taking the shots he's in!?

Hah, bear in mind cinetext did have stash, identified as Ronnie and also 1967 as 1970-something!

No, I don't find it strange.

I think it's very cool that they used solid state amps though! Kind of puts a nail in the coffin of the whole anti solid state snobbery that a lot of musicians have.

sweet! would anyone be into translating the description for us, please and thank you very much indeed?
i tried babelfish but it didn't do too well.
