Out driving Saturday night, listening to local station, and Wow....
right in there with usual, current, listening "pleasures" the lady dj played the Stones' version of A & A.
It sounded soooo good, esp. hearing it unexpectedly like that !
Always liked that one.

Around and Around is an awesome song to play live. I've not heard Chuck's version I don't think, but I love the Stones' version.

It's why intelligent people like us love the heartfelt enthusiasm of the boys' early songs. Can I hear a "Yeah!"

"Yeah"
I never heard it on the radio before [by anybody] it sounded awesome, I sped up a bit in it's honor.

this is one of those songs(and there are many) that the stones cut chuck with his own material! but bless keith for trying to give chuck a decent band to perform with back in 86. Keith proudly states he stole every lick chuck had and "he stole it well"!!!

There are some great live versions but no one can match the studio version with the great guitar solo and the incredible piano playing (by Ian Stewart)!!!

It's a fun song to play on guitar. Keith and Charlie play it together very well indeed on the "Love You Live" version. Woof!

The LYL version is probably my favorite performance/recording of the Woody era. Then someone posted that it is overdubbed, so...oh well.

The '64 TAMI show performance is wonderful and wonderfully shot as well. I've said before...the TAMI show is the best visual record of the band in the Brian era that I know of. I cannot recommend it enough.

Great Berry cover and agree with pmk251, the TAMI rendition is fantastic. Also noteworthy is their performance from Paris in the same year.

Never ever get tired of hearing this - the original band (all six of them on this one) firing on all cylinders.

Amen to your post, watching the TAMI show version is what made me add the song to my band's playlist.

I really like the way Brian and Keith wave their "Berry-esque" guitars....

Same with "Down the Road Apiece".......nice FAT boogie....

"A&A" is my holy grail song to hear the Stones play live.
