It was on August, 23rd 2007, 2nd O2-London show.

Which song?

I seem to remember him wearing that just after he'd just come back from the b stage, so I'm guessing 'Sympathy' or therabouts

Believe both of these were during Sympathy on August 26th.

EDIT: (Headsmack!) Nope - they're on the B-stage coming back, so would be HTW. Erm... sorry! Long day...

It`s a Micawber-song. I wasn`t at the show, so I can`t say. Either Honky Tonk Woman or Brown Sugar.

Hmmmm..well in those shots it looks like they are just coming back from the B-stage while still playing HTW (you can see the crowd very close to the stage). Plus, Keith's got his telecaster which he uses on HTW and not on Sympathy as he likes to use his Gibson on that one.

I'd guess that the shot of Ronnie was during HTW or some other song as I don't see him playing that one on Sympathy because it is a telecaster which is used more for a twangy or country sound. I've never seen Ronnie use a telecater on Sympathy. Just my hunch....

That's the red ESP B-bender (he's got a black one too) which gets used for HTW.

Ronnie's usual Red B-Bender ESP has a single coil at the bridge and a covered double at the neck - like this one : [www.maverick-music.com]

I had never seen/noticed this double humbucker ESP Tele before.

Good eye, Gwen.
the pic at the top does indeed have 2 humbuckers.

apologies to Dandelion Powderman then.

He's playing a cream-coloured Tele in the At The Max-movie.

I checked both the Rock and a Hard Place video and Tokyo's Rock and a Hard Place and that's indeed this same double HB ESP that Ronnie is playing. Thanks DandelionPowderman!

Just a few notes:

1.The red ESP shown on the link from maveric-music is similar to the black ESP Ronnie uses for Tumbling Dice,She So Cold,Torn And Frayed and HTW.

2.The red ESP is playing when jamming with Paul Shaffer is not one of Ronnie's - look at the pick-up configuration.

3.The red ESP Ronnie normally use has always had 2xHB pickup's - the black one got one single-coil in bridge-position and a HB in neck-position.

>> Ronnie's usual Red B-Bender ESP has a single coil at the bridge and a covered double at the neck <<

hm: i'm looking at some photos from the Licks tour, and both b-benders seem to have two humbuckers -
so if a single coil at the bridge was his "usual" at some point, when did he change to a 2 x HB configuration?

(and in that 1986 Shaffer interview Keith states that that guitar is Ronnie's, so i reckon it is.
the configuration of his signature version isn't necessarily the way his first b-benders were set up - in fact ... )

I'm quite sure that the Ron Wood signature-Tele from ESP got SC in bridge and HB in neck.

Allright,if Keef says so it must be true :-)

>> the Ron Wood signature-Tele from ESP got SC in bridge and HB in neck.

that doesn't mean that all of Ronnie's own b-benders have always had the same pickup configuration.
if you think about it just briefly: the very first b-bender Ronnie owned was not a Ronnie Wood signature model, was it?
and you can see in the photos that the fact that there's a signature model doesn't mean Ronnie never uses anything else.

Actually, most of the ESP-Tele's I've seenn Ronnie play has 2xHB,and the first time I saw the RW signature Tele from ESP I noticed that the SC/HB combination not were on RW's own ESP.

i see now what you're saying - sorry, i misunderstood you before.
so ... do we have any photo/footage of Ronnie with a b-bender that has that "signature-model" pick-up configuration?
