Wait, is Ronnie a musical guest as well, or just promoting his book in an interview?

going to go set my DVR roght now, but often times the last guest gets bumped, or if a musical guest, gets no actual face (interview) time with Dave...

List of international broadcasts of 'Letterman'
[en.wikipedia.org]

for UK fans, Letterman is now being broadcast by the new DIVA channel on Sky, but theres a delay of afew weeks (unlike the old days when we used to get it 24 hours later)

I'm thinking with that line-up, he'll only pitch his book, unfortunately.

We can hope for more, though.

The torrents of the show turn up quite quickly as well.
Try a search again after the show here:

I can't imagine Ronnie singing...his voice has been out of use vocally, and I can't see it being a good idea for new viewers to listen to. Unless, Bernard Fowler pops up to fill in for the vocals--then it'd seem possible. Otherwise, I'd expect him to chat with Dave--which would make the whole hour full of talk. I think there's 40% chance Ron's going to perform.

I just found out two things:

1) I am going!!
2) Ronnie is "guesting" with the band, which means little, if any interview time; maybe a quick plug of the book at the end, but probably all Stones/faces music going into and out of the breaks. This won't mean as much to those watching on TV, but having been there before, the band does play lots more music for the studio audience.

Congrats on going! should be fun.

Wow, didn't expect Ronnie on sitting in with the band. I guess that's cool...but i wish he would've talked with Dave about the Stones and the book....

That's great, Half Nanker!! Did you get the ticket through the normal channels? I want to try and get one but do you know if they've all been allocated already? Thanks!

Even if he's sitting in with the band occasionally, I cant see him NOT being interviewed.

He does have a book to promote after all, and it'll be a perfect platform to announce that he'll be signing copies of it in New York later that week

I guess so Gazz...otherwise he wouldn't be included on the bill. Other huge names have sat in with the band but they've never been included on the show's guest bill. BB King and James Burton both have sat in but no mention of them on the guest list. I guess it's safe to say that he WILL be talking to Dave on the show.

I'm with Justin, in that if Ronnie wasn't going to be interviewed or at least appear as the featured musician in a tune, he wouldn't be on the guest list.

Good for you Halfnanker. I kind of thought he would just sit in with the band. Espicially given the other guests. I could'nt really imagine Ronnie playing solo. Most likely Letterman will just give repeated plugs for the book and the signing. But let us know what they paly during commercials.

Bernard has a gig of his own in Buenos Aires on October 30th.
He probably won't be in NY the day before.
