No need for criticism. Its each to their own. I prefer the UK release as it has imo, a better sleeve and of course, more tracks. The US edition does end with Goin' Home though.

Hello VoodooLounge13 !
Re.: 21 track promo sampler, there's a link on the "Connection" page:
Scroll down and you'll find this:
Unfortunately, *some* of the value may be justified, as this set contains a few
versions of tracks that did not make it in this form to the final discs (while this isn't a big
deal for CD listeners, who can simply acquire a copy of this disc, the improved SACD
layer of a few tracks presents a bigger problem). The different tracks (that aren't merely
shorter edits) are as follows:

1) "Under My Thumb." This track is processed on the officially released discs
(with the hiss level of the track noticeably increasing when the vocals come
in), but is unprocessed here.
2) "Miss Amanda Jones." Still has the folded-in intro, but NO hiss reduction has
been applied to the track at this point.
3) "Jiving Sister Fanny." The version on Metamorphosis suffers from several
digital glitches (as does the rest of the album). The version here is glitch-free.

Thus, the sampler reflects something of a "work-in-progress," as while most
versions here are the versions that would be used on the final discs ("Ruby Tuesday" is
the wrong mix, for example), they aren't necessarily in their final forms. An interesting
listen, but don't pay eBay prices for the novelty!

That's what I feared overlooking page 1; there was a fellow here within the last two weeks, who asked for an introduction how to collect Dylan cds, well I think he's even more confused!!

Thanks Rank!!
I actually acquired it fairly cheaply - the 21 track sampler - $52, which I thought was a steal compared to the $300-$450 I'd seen it going for. The 6 track sampler seems to go for more money though.

Does anyone know about the spanish sticky fingers? Are there different versions on there or did I imagine all that? LOL

I am so glad I got into this in 1971. It was still a long way to go back into 1963, but at least it was affordable and easy within 1-2 years of hard work. Albums and singles. Collector's items. Rolling Stones Book 1-30. All of that. After that it was a matter of keeping up as the tracks got available officially or through other sources. These days I would assume it is much harder to dig out each and every track and collector's item since 1963, or even before that year.

BV,
You're probably right - I just finished gettin the mini LPs re-releases, which cost a small fortune in and of themselves, since they were all imports, but you're right, as long as you stay on top of the releases, it is easy goin forward.

Not on my copy, definately mono! The stereo version on the lp has also more bass, but for me the best sounding version is on the German single !(RS 19102X).
Also in mono, but a lot more punch!
