Billy Madison. When he gets really drunk and hallucinates that penguin, I can really identify and relate to that.

We should hang out a bit, ya know.

Although, going by that list, the evening may end quite suddenly and brutally.

This is a great thread! Here goes my list.

Performance - Not great but really wild, Mick looks good in it.

Apocalypse Now - Platoon tied. My brother tells me both are very close to the craziness that he was part of in Nam. He's paying the price health wise for his 2 tours there now. In a nursing home, 1 year older than me.

2001 A Space Odyssey - Open the pod bay door Hal!
The Godfather - "Luca Brazzi sleeps with the fishes"
Goodfellas - Joe Pesci is great in this
Once upon a time in America - Classic!!
Raising Arizona - A real hoot
O Father where art thou! - I'm a Dapper Dan man!
Dr Strangelove - Total craziness, Sterling Hayden was cool
Blade Runner - Classic Sci Fi
Saving Private Ryan - Wish my Dad had seen this.
Sling Blade - Potted meat & mustard on fries
Cuckoo's Nest - Nurse Ratchet & McMurphy go toe to toe.
Ben Hur & all of the classic biblical movies.
Many more favorites but these top my list.

Saw Angels and Demons yesterday. The cinematography was excellent as this flick was filmed entirely in Rome. I only give this movie a 7 out of 10 rating because the plot is very hokey. If Tom Hanks wasn't in the movie then the rating would slip to a 6. Although only a story, it's simply odd to accept such violence in the Vatican. It's worth a rental fee, however.

Oh, yes still ill I am with ya!

We all have a lot of similar tastes...

Glad to see Carlito's Way, one of Delorento's most over looked classics with incredible acting from Sean Penn, and Pacino complete with sly lisp!

Once Upon A Time in The West

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly!!

Forgiven

On the Water Front

One Eyed Jacks.....frigging amazing, one of the first anti-westerns, and the only film directed by Brando. Over 300 minutes of uncut film lost in a fire, another hollywood legend.

HEAT!

For Few Dollars More

Alien!!

Frankenstein (Karloff)

Dracula (Jack Palance)

The Conversation

A Hard Days Night

The Departed

The Aviator (grossly ignored)

Night of the Hunter (Charles Daughton's only film he directed. A noir classic! Creepy and full of menace. Robert Mitchum was a stone cold hollywood hard ass!)

The Great Escape

Event Horizon (great sci fi!)

This Island Earth

The remake of The Thing

The Thing

The Cabinet of Dr. Calagerri

Hold on I have to pack a bong and think of more that freak me!
