According to the Hachinohe Police Station in Aomori Prefecture of Japan, a Japanese woman in her 50s
found and followed an account claiming to be Mick Jagger on Facebook around December last year.
She commented on the account, and in January of this year, Yvonne Meyer, an account claiming to be his manager, replied to her,
and they began communicating via Facebook messenger.

The fake manager introduced a membership service, saying,
“We have a promotion for Mick's fans where Mick will invest and increase the money you send.“
After being offered two courses, the woman chose the “regular course,” which was less expensive, and as a result,
she became a victim of an SNS-type rom-con in which she was cheated out of a total of 120,500 yen in cash and electronic money.

Another lovely article. Thanks Rockman.

It still feels so odd and painful that he's gone.

Where's the Paper Cut Blues picture - very nice - from?
Obviously 1975, but by which photographer? Sykes?
And where can I get that watch?

It's so odd for me to think that once upon a time Satisfaction was a new song people got to discover on the radio.

(Trouble getting link to work, sorry.. I leave this up and see if I can figure it out)

About five paragraphs in there's a mention of Mick I hadn't heard of before.. Nothing major, but kinda interesting.

The photographer in the obit worked and lived in my mother's hometown of Watsonville, CA, small farming community north of San Francisco.

Lol, yes.. I was thinking I was in LA for a moment. I’ve lived up and down the state so sometimes forget where I am.. Anyway the story references a hometown small paper photog who recently died and had helped give a tour to Mick of the area after the Loma Prieta earthquake which I thought was kind of cool.. The website has been hacked today I just discovered which is why the link is down.
