I think they are freestone peaches, hence the connection?

jb

Matt Lee does have one and it’s in his forthcoming book ;-) I actually nearly bought this one a while back as it’s in slightly better condition than mine. I have a lot of Knebworth stuff.

Sadly the last time we saw a show with Tim Rogers in it he was either drunk/high/wasted and out of control in a very unfunny and unprofessional way, so he totally spoiled it for both the audience and the other performers.

So we're not bothering with this one....

April 19, 1965, the concert that never was! The Rolling Stones were scheduled to play the Blokker Hallen (where The Beatles performed for the first and only time in the Netherlands on June 6,1964).
Something came in between. It may have been a tour schedule problem, because the last three concerts from the 1965 European tour were on April 16, 17 and 18 in Paris, France and the first concert of the North America 1965 tour was in Montreal, Canada on April 23, 1965.
Or was it the "reputation image" of the Stones that was left behind following the August 8, 1964 (out of control and very short) concert in the Kurhaus (Kurzaal), Scheveningen (The Hague)?
Instead it was The Pretty Things that came over to the Blokker Hallen on April 19, 1965.

How was Roy Orbison that night? I saw him right around that time at a big kustom car show in St Louis. Was only 14 I guess; it was the most exciting thing I had seen up to that time. Dug the cars too.

"This is the cover of the 1965 U.S
Rolling Stones Autumn Tour Program.

Unfortunately, the original transparency has been lost so this is from my personal collection.

This photograph was taken at my first session with the band in 1965 in Mason's Yard, London."

That is one great shot, Mister!
It totally captures the atmophere from back then.
I was just 13 years old in 1965 but I still can remember very well.
Thanks a lot for posting.
