Carla Olson
In '75, there was a Stones concert in San Antonio, Texas, and the late Stones guitar technician, Chuch Magee, put the Textones on sound check.
After the concert I jammed on the rehearsal room with Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ian Stewart!
The song was "The Stumble" by Freddie King.

See Mike Koshitani's site for more details.

The Australian -- 1 April 2020

I studied Vincent van Gogh, I explored Auvers Sur Oise near Paris and Arles and St.Rémy in the south of France, where Vincent painted and it is really sad that they stole another Vincent painting, I think works of Art like Van Gogh need more security and protection.

A quick two and half minute video from Jerry Brandt. He was the former owner of the Ritz in NYC. Some of great memories from the Ritz include The Charlie Watts Orchestra . Chuck Berry with special guest Ron Wood. Bo Diddley and Woody. Mick also performed there but I believe it was the first show when it was renamed "Webster Hall".

Besides all that, they also had Stones Video nights this was at the very beginning of MTV and they played all kinds of rare Stones stuff.

Detour, there's a muddy road ahead, detour
Paid no mind to what it said
Detour, oh these bitter things I find,
Should have read
That detour sign

Mystery Train gets revised for
the seventh time and this go around
it gets theeeeee Deluxe treatment ....

Always a total pleasure to read.. especially the
Notes and Discographies section which take
up about half the book ... and have received minor updates ...

For the first time Mystery Train now features
photos and is housed in a protective slip-cover but
hell the greatest book about rock really doesn't need either ...

Those are beautiful cars, and can be gotten for a pretty fair price even today. That Maserati engine really screams.

It warms the heart to see how well Keith took care of his father in his older days. Such a sweet thing to do.

The other picture above: How beautiful wasn't Anita Pallenberg. You understand why they all fell for her...
