Just came home from work and found an envelope from Kopenhagen - I opened it and yeah, I got my tickets for the show at Parken,sunday 5th august 2007!!! The letter was posted on march 29th...seems the envelope missed some ferries and airplanes in the meantime...
Snails on tour..
Funny thing is, I got my tickets in time and never asked to send them again.

Strange! Anyway, the Danish were very efficient indeed; I got my tickets just two days after booking them through internet.

Me too, though I must say I've had some bad experiences in the past when it comes to the Danish Postal Service.

In the US we can print the tickets after we buy them on the internet. Are they doing this with any concerts in Europe?

Yes. I seem to remember that for 3 the Stones concerts this past summer I bought tix to that service was available.

Thanks, I was just curious because when I bought my Slane Castle Tickets, that was not an option.

To the contrary Baboon Bro, when I was in Europe last month a saw a number of things that were more technically advanced there, like those credit card devices the servers at restaurants use when it comes time to pay your bill. Most places in the States still do it the old fashion way, take it to a central station, run the card and get approval and get it back to you. Why am I talking about this? I guess it's because my work day is almost done and I'm am caught up.

But in Denmark they mainly take some domestic credit cards.
I had to put out loads of cash last summer & lost a fortune in
transfer fees in the (otherwise wonderful land of) Denmark.

The big question is, when you were in Denmark
1. Did you visit the Carlsberg Brewery and
2. Did you go visit Christiania

Hm...I only have a Visa card and it works fine, but I do remember you telling me about the trouble you had. It might be so when visiting smaller cities.

I think you are charged about 0.50Dkr every time you use your credit card here.

Calrsberg I have seen many time before.
I visted Christiania repeatedly 1978-circa 1990.
Too many bikers last times.
But Carlsberg could need a re-visit.
I'm most often at Jutland, wherre the 250 meters
or more than 300 yards-beaches with soft, white sand
and where the expression "topless" was invented attracts me...

I meant what I lose when I pick out cash from the Cash machines.
I lost some 135 SEK on that :O/

The town in question was Nyköbing in Limfjorden area;
but I have been thru that before. Not my meaning pickin' on Denmark;
I am coming back next summer, already bookin'.
Even Sven, my ragged pal, will come back.

Yeah that is quite annoying, especially if you can't use your Visa anywhere.

My grandma actually decided to live there for some weird reason. It's a nice little sleepy town.

Complaining is all we do down here. In fact it's all we are really good at.

You can always stay at my place if you come to Odense
