I always play it in standard but it works quite well either way. If you want to play it in open G try capoing at the the 4th fret and pick it out. It's not too hard really and its good ear training to figue stuff out on your own. Most of all have fun with it!

I believe it is something like this???

OPEN-G Capo 4th Fret
Intro/Verse
---------------------------------------------------(improvise with this)
---------------------------------------------------(im doing this roughly)
---0-0-------3------3-------3--0-0-----------------
---0-0--3-5--3--3-5-3--3-5--3--0-0-----------------
---0-0--3-5-----3-5----3-5-----0-0-----------------
---------------------------------------------------

Chorus
>>>>>>>> >>>>>> >>>>>>
---3-3-3--------10---10--10-----5--5---------0-0------------
---3-3-3--------10---13--10-----5--5---------0-0---------
---3-3-3--------10---10--10-----5--5---------0-0------------
---3-3-3--------10---12--10-----5--5---------0-0--------------
---3-3-3--------10---10--10-----5--5---------0-0-------------
-----------------------------------------------------

Outro???????
---0--0-----5--5---3-3--2--0--0------------------------------------
---0--0-----5--5---3-3--2--0--0------------------------------------
---0--0-----5--5---3-3--2--0--0--------------------------------------
---0--0-----5--5---3-3--2--0--0-------------------------------------
---0--0-----5--5---3-3--2--0--0--------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------

Again this is very rough. I used to do tabs and what not..tell me this is any help????

Well, that's a good question and to answer it you need to know how we play it as a band. I have an mp3 that you can listen to, but here's what we do.

My guitar is in open g tuning and I play the song in the key of B. So fourth fret for the B (which I alternate with the E chord whilst the other guitar is in standard tuning playing the riff). The D is on the 7th fret and I play the A on the 2nd fret and the E on the 9th.

Hmmm, you can hear it easier than I can explain it but I think you have the idea. Email me at stikky_finger@hotmail.com and I'll send you the mp3?

I've been playing it in open G with a capo on the 4th fret and it goes something like this:

I play it in standard tuning as well:
