well...Bill Hicks was usually great, but I wouldn't say that this was one of his best routines - it doesn't exactly make me laugh out loud either -

yeah thanks ! :-) here is a great dick cavett interview with mick in 1972, right before the stones go on stage (i wouldn't know which show...)
there are LOTS of great rock-star moments from the dick cavett show...Janis is esp. nice

I thought it was pretty funny for late 80's, early 90's style humor...
The Stones humor centered around substance abuse back then as opposed to now where the jokes are about their age...
