Well it's nice to move around free and not pull your amp from the shelve or get tangled up in cables.
but you need to pay a lot of attention to the transmitted signal.
there are many evil ways to catch interferrence you hate to hear.
blind spots, mobile phones, computers, power lines, low batteries, police calls, radio, TV...whatever.

maybe the newer generation devices are better, but it's always advisable to have a quality cable with you.
no headaches there.

I have a Sure wireless that I use for my guitar and bass when on stage. I think it's 8 or nine channels, never had a problem with it, I've had it almost 2 years. If necessary, I can get you the exact model number.

Are you satisfied with it? I think that is very very cool when you can free move on stage without scare that you will catch your frontmen or yourself in your web of guitar cable.

I love it! Never go on stage without it. I even love running out into the audience at least once a show. Nothing like a little shock value in a performance.

I'd like to know which model it is if that's not too much trouble? Thanks!

When I get home this evening I will look at it and post.

Check out the PG14 (Shure). It's the same as what I have except it has internal antennas, it's even a few dollars less than what I paid for it 2 years ago...mine is external, don't think they make it that way any more, but everything else is identical. To look at it go to musiciansfriend.com and under search put Shure Wireless guitar

Re: Above:
The model I have is the PG x4. The only difference to the 14 is that mine has external antennas, and my battery pack runs on 2 AA and the 14 runs on 1 9v.
