YouTube thread...
Posted by: DoughboyUK ()
Date: September 4, 2007 09:23

ive been looking at the toronto clips from one of the other threads - i got the cd but never saw the vids - theyve blew me away - thx for that stuff...
What i was going to suggest is that there was maybe one single thread on here setup for links to youtube for this sort of stuff?..
Wouldnt that be easy and after a few months there would be a nice fat catalogue of stuff we could refer to from this sole thread?..
we can all post stones related stuff on it as links?..

just an idea - maybe worth some thought?..

Good idea.

Here's an interesting video:

Far Away Eyes from the 5 DVD bootleg "The Rolling Stones and Solo Anthology, The Video Collection" (according the original poster; coowouters )

Edited 20:11: Found a version with better sound quality:

Hey Negrita:

Great live version (although I think the footage and sound are not from the same source), does anybody know from which concert/bootleg the soundtrack is from?

The days without the Stones make me adapt to other things.

Speaking of Willie Nelson:

This next one is Stones related however. Please don't watch if you don't wanna laugh.

Not a Stones clip, but of you are a fan of STYX, I shot this stunning acoustic version of "Fooling Youself" on Saturday. Tommy Shaw & Jack Blades performing.

Tommy does the synth intro on acoustic...

Perhaps the greatest solo performance of Keith captured on film.
What a sound, what a voice.

Watching that video prompts me to ask when was the last tour on which Ronnie did backing vocals?

They are in "the zone" during the entire song, sometimes even going higher...just incredible...the more I see it the more I notice and the better it gets...after Mick's eyes see how he prods Ronnie and later how he signals KR to take it...
