Even if I'm the only one on this board to be interested in this sport, England plaid a great match this afternoon. Oh sweet rose, sweet charriot....Will be the day of Europe today...

Yes, we did. What a match. Semi-final is an old classics : France - England. As I wrote before today was the Europe Day.

Was at the All Blacks - France game last night. Unbelievable atmosphere! Loved the way that the French faced up to the haka. Obviously didn't make up for my disappointment for having to cancel my trip to Marseille, but as a rugby fan I managed to forget that for 80 minutes. I think that this has been an outstanding tournament - best World Cup so far. Just a shame, for me, that Wales had to be on the end of a giant killing act!Wouldn't be surprised to see a repeat of the first game as the Final.

Adieu mes braves.

I'd love Argentina to beat the Boks, but I suppose it's unlikely. England for the Cup!!

Fan bloody tastic. after the thrashing the Boks gave us I wouldn't have given England a chance to reach the final. and to beat France in Paris to boot. I'm gobsmacked! I would not bet against them repeating as champs now

Sweet Rose...The best team won yesterday night. More experienced, they trapped the French into that sort of game were they are at their best and which looks like some sort of american football. It was not an outstanding match, but a semi-final were tactics is first. A regret though that the French were unable to open the game to the rears.

Great contenders for the final. The actual best team won, but England nearly made had this try been...

it was not a try..

Yes, it was. I watched the video more than 20 times. The knee was in the air while the ball touched the grass. But it would not have changed the final result, but put more pressure on the Box to enter paradise.

Remember watching New Zeeland versus Scotland. No ALL BLACKS versus BLUES and WHITES (as used to in football/soccer). Both in ALL GREYISH with lines. Remembered me of old black and white tv times.
