I know a lot of people really missed Gimme Shelter on this tour and there were also many calls for Memory Motel and other songs featuring Keef on vocals such as Comin' Down Again.

Goat's Head Soup is an album that has been poorly served since it came out - my first tour, Wembley 73 - so how about a few classics from there like Silver Train, Hide Your Love which could be a great one for Mick to get the audience going. Imagine all those 'Oh Yeahs' echoing around arenas.

It's Only Rock'n'Roll is another that could be revisted - I always loved the sheer raunch of Luxury but how about the band getting real gone and funky to trigger some serious audience ass-shaking with Fingerprint File.

What do other fans want to hear?

it has gotten to the point, where there's very little drama or even any anticipation anymore....they pretty much laid out their gameplan they will execute until it's over....

As the tour progresses they will alternate with Angie, until that slot is dropped altogether.

I am hearing a new album is planned, so if you to early in the tour, you may get a few new ones, but by the end, it'll be the Big Bang tour again.

i'll predict "thru and thru" instead of slipping away.

I dont think its out of the question to expect that they may have a more varied set list on this next (possible) tour. Theyve suprised us before with the set lists of No Security and Licks tour. On ABB they seemed to make a decision to go back to a more basic show with not too many suprises. They may shift their foucus again. theyve done it before.

I think Dan pretty much nailed it however it's safe to say they would swap out Gimme Shelter, Angie, Shine a Light, Street Fighting Man and Midnight Rambler for Monkey Man, Bitch,You Can't Always Get What you Want, Paint it Black and Shattered on occasion.

Hopefully they'll add Streets Of Love as the tour progresses. Hey, nothing wrong in daydreaming, right ?

rarities? how dare anyone mention the term 'rarities'??? its the Stones!!! jokes aside, the next tour (if there ever will be one) will be same procedure:

- after announcent of tour speculation will reach boiling point concerning setlists, rarities and live premieres of songs.

- first shows will bring everybody back in reality...

- and after disappointments of first shows setlists surviving optimists will dream on and speculate about addition of at least a few suprises as the tour progresses

- as usual, one or two songs will be added, but the rest will stay more or less the same

- so optimists will dream again of surprises during last shows of tour and special events like guest appearances by Bill Wyman and-or Mick Taylor

- in the end, these surprises wont happen and everyone who expected something different from the Stones will feel disappointed again....

- and a few days after new tour will have ended, speculations and discussions will set in concerning next tour, setlist changes, rarely played stuff, live premieres, Stones returning to roots, blues albums, blues tours, smaller venues, club shows and so on and so on

business as usual, wishful thinking as usual!!!!!!!!!!!
