Favorite Lyrical Euphmisms - Stones or Not

What are your favorite lyrical euphemisms. There are plenty in the pennings of Mr's Jagger & Richards, but don't feel limited to The Rolling Stones songs.

I'll start with an obvious choice from Coming Down Again:

Slipped my tongue in someone else's pie
Tasting better ev'ry time
He turned green and tried to make me cry
Being hungry it ain't no crime

No, I'm not still in high school, but it can be fun to act as though I amsmiling smiley

I think I'm turning Japanese, I really think so -- ode to masturbation

Same thing with Jackson Browne's "Rosie" and AC/DC's "Whole Lotta Rosie"

"I Wanna Hold Your Hand"...really,after playing The Star Club in Hamburg?

Methinks they wanted (and got!) a wee bit more!

Cheers,

Si.

....I hear blues singers mention a jelly roll sometimes in songs. What the hell is that?.......and while you're at it, what exactly is a mojo?

Elmo, I'm pretty sure a back door man is someone who the woman is cheating with......as in the character in Allman's "One Way Out."......of course you already knew that. You don't suppose it could also be a buttfvcker, do you?

back in the day when black artists had their own charts ( known as race charts) white artists would often copy their hits, one of the most famous of these is Bill Haley and his version of "Shake Rattle and Roll" but as was common at the time an naughty lyrics was changed. the line "get out of that bed and was her face and hands" was deemed to suggestive for a white man ( black people it was reckoned didnt have a soul to save !!) and was changed to "get into that kitchen and was those pots and pans. YES unbelievable by todays standards. some other lines were also changed but some also missed including one of my favourite lines of all time

" i'm like a one-eyed cat peepin' in a seafood store" smiling smiley

I have a great CD of early blues songs with lyrics that are not just suggestive but in some case downright obvious, and from some unexpected scources at times Jackie Wilson LaVerne Baker Duet " (think twice vesion X)
jackie " You allways lift yer dress, time i look...
laverne" "tahts allright, lick it, you know how to lick it dontca....?"

Brand New Car had a lot of great ones:

"I want to check if her oil smells good
Mmmm...smells like caviar"

"Touch her on the seat
Go on, feel the fur
And I got a brand new star "

"Feel the juice
Foot to the floor
Take some abuse"

"Hear the motor running
Yeah, she's right in sink
Tell me if she's thirsty
Would she like a drink"

Turning Japanese, ha...

hows about the Mac's "Rattlesnake Shake" much more to the point. The best is the video from Playboy After Hours, Peter Green Tripping his arse off while all those bunnies are shaking it to that song. Now that is PRICELESS.
